This easy hairstyle from Real Simple is genius due to the fact that it can work on nearly any length of hair. For days when you just want to get your hair out of your face, keep it there, and don’t have much time to do anything fancy, this is you’re go-to fix. Plus it incorporates a bit of a braid to add interest to the look, not to mention it's loose, undone nature is very on-trend for spring 2013.

1. First create a deep side part.

2. Starting from the part and working toward the opposite temple, French-braid a section of hair about an inch wide along your hairline, stopping at the temple. 

3. Secure with a clear elastic or bobby pins. Pull and loosen braided sections to give the braid a fuller, thicker effect. Style the rest of your hair as usual.
